ReplyDeleteThey're asking Kree to sing Perfect by Pink?!! Wow! Isn't that the most head scratching song in the list? Seems like they already have a plan for final two and they sure is planning for Angie and Candice. Way to manipulate things AI.

My oh My, Anonymous--I love Pink, but I too can't picture Kree singing this particular song. Like you, I'm also wondering myself about these song choices. I sure wish they had let the contestants pick out the songs themselves instead of the producers--I've always been a fan of American Idol since its start but some of the decisions and things that have happened on that show this season have really puzzled the heck out of me. It seems to me that the more they worry about the ratings, the more they do things to lose them.
ReplyDeleteWow. Way to set Kree up. Now, do I think she can do all that? Absolutely. But it certainly seems like the show is trying to stack the deck against her, especially with that Pink selection.

ReplyDeleteEver since they saddled Syesha with that penguin-movie song, it was clear that the producers choose songs based on who they want in the final 2. (And don't think for a minute that the "Judge's Choice" is anything other than a producers' choice.)
ReplyDeleteI think of the three, we will say goodbye to Angie tomorrow. Unless a miracle happens, she's done. The Elton John track is a throwaway sleeper that's been way overdone on these shows. And she will crash with Pink. You have to be a certain type of singer to tackle her, & I just don't see it. Candace on the other hand is tailor made to coast to the finals. As for Kree, I agree that her song choices are head scratchers. However, she may be the "dark horse" if she can pull it off...
