AI12 Coronation Single Lyrics

Candice Glover - "I Am Beautiful"

You say I sound silly when I laugh real loud
Talk about my day and you tune me out
You keep telling me lies to make things worse
But I don't hear you
'Cause I'm listening to his words
And he says I am beautiful
And when I fall
It don't matter that I'm not perfect
I am beautiful
I'm not alone
And in his eyes I'm so worth it
I'm worth every tear
And every scar
And even when you say I'm not
He says I'm beautiful
You say I'll never be good enough
Knock me down
Won't help me up
And you always say the right thing to make hurt
But I don't hear you
'Cause I'm listening to his words
And he says I am beautiful
And when I fall
It don't matter that I'm not perfect
I am beautiful
I'm not alone
And in his eyes I'm so worth it
I'm worth every tear
And every scar
And even when you say I'm not
He says I'm beautiful
And I deserve better things
He says he understands
I got to do whats right for me
And he says I am beautiful
And when I fall
It don't matter that I'm not perfect
I am beautiful
I'm not alone
And in his eyes I'm so worth it
I'm worth every tear
And every scar
And even when you say I'm not
He says I'm beautiful
He says
He says
I'm beautiful
And I'm worth every tear
And every scar
And even when you say I'm not
He says I'm beautiful

Kree Harrison - "All Cried Out"

They say when the last year comes
You can tell by the way it falls
It's like seeing everything for the first time again
It's not like the pain is gone
Just hurts a little bit less
You know you're going to cross that line
Who knows what you're going to find
It's only a matter of time in the end
I'm all cried out
Ready to run like a river
But it's empty now
And the only consolation is that
I can lie here in this bed
And put these memories to rest somehow
'Cause I'm all cried out
I never knew I had the strength
'Til I finally hit the ground
Now I have to make a choice to get up
Or stay down
For crying out loud
I'm all cried out
Ready to run like a river
But it's empty now
And the only consolation is that
I can lie here in this bed
Ad put these memories to rest somehow
'Cause I'm all cried out
And the only consolation is that
I can lie here in this bed
Ad put these memories to rest somehow
'Cause I'm all cried out
I'm all cried out

AI12 Surprise Reveal - Winner's Launch: Striking While The Iron Is Hot

Since the finals began, the contestants have been secretly writing/co-writing and recording original songs in preparation for their album on a nearly daily basis (should they win or still receive a recording contract).  Sometime near the end of the season, original songs will be performed by the then-remaining finalists.  It is expected that the winner's coronation single will be a song that she had a hand in writing.  Unlike ever before, the winner's debut album will be released soon after the finale, rather than many months later, to better capitalize on the potential of the television exposure and winning momentum.  The winner will support their album by performing their own songs on the summer tour.

AI12 Finals Week 7 Themes

AI12 Las Vegas Round Performance Options

For the top 40 round, as in Hollywood Round 3, contestants are allowed to perform an original song and/or use an instrument.  In the previous round, several contestants (at least 5 females that we know of) took the risk of performing their own self-created music, even free-styling in the case of Zoanette Johnson.  It apparently paid off for most of them, especially Angela Miller whose moment at the piano received the only standing ovation by all 4 judges for a solo performance during the Hollywood Rounds.  Jett Hermano also advanced upon highlighting herself as a lyricist.  This next round is an opportunity for contestants to not only showcase their abilities as songwriters once more, but also make history as it will have been the first time such performance has been done in a setting with an audience of fans as if it were live.
